Mr. Johnny Clinton Gray, age 61, of Adairsville, GA passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at AdventHealth Gordon surrounded by his loving family.
Johnny was born February 25, 1964, in Rome, Georgia, son of Anna Miller Gray and the late Roy “Bodie” Clinton Gray. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother, Bradley Joe Gray.
Survivors include his mother, Ann Miller Gray, daughters, Candace and William Hullender, Sr. and Misty and Billy Green, JR.;grandchildren, Tanner Warren, Avery Warren, William Hullender ,JR, Lucas Green, and Liam Green; sister, Donna (Hank) Hazelwood, brothers; Randy Gray (Bridgette) and Russell Gray (Ambrea); niece, Carly and Camden Milton; nephews, Carson Gray, Zachary and Stephanie Hazelwood, and Corey Joe and Victoria Hazelwood; great-nephews, Noland and Boone Hazelwood; great-nieces, Anna and Lila Hazelwood; several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Johnny Gray was a free-spirited man with a big heart who never met a stranger. Caring and generous to all who crossed his path, he was a true friend to many and a light in every room. Known for his quick wit and playful sense of humor, Johnny could turn even the quietest gathering into one filled with laughter. He loved spending time fishing, playing his guitar, and listening to good old rock and roll. Above all, he cherished his family — especially his mother, daughters and grandchildren — who were the pride and joy of his life. Johnny was truly a wonderful person who will be deeply missed by everyone blessed to know him.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 27, 2026, at at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. David Headrick officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Church Cemetery, Adairsville.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
Pallbearers include Randy Gray, Russel Gray, Carson Gray, Billy Green, JR., William Hullender Sr., and Tanner Warren.
R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, is in charge of arrangements for Mr. Johnny Clinton Gray.
