Isaac Mathis Obituary

Isaac was born on March 6, 1932 and passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018. Isaac was a resident of North Carolina at the time of passing. Mr. Mathis served four years in the U.S. Air Force and upon completion of his service, he began a 20-year career as an Air Traffic Controller with the FAA. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Kernersville with Dr. Stephen Martin officiating. Burial with military honors will follow the service at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Winston-Salem. Visitation is at 1:00pm prior to the service in the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Kernersville, 401 Oakhurst St., Kernersville, NC 27284.
