FELLOWS, Isabel Love Chapman, 89, passed away November 10, 2008 in Richmond, Va. Isabel was born July 8, 1919 in Mt. Vernon, N.Y. Isabel was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She and her husband, Ed Fellows, were recently from Huntington, N.Y., where they lived for 56 years (1943-1999). They were members of the Lloyd Harbor Yacht Club and active in the Harbor Boating Club of Huntington, N.Y. Isabel retired from the Huntington School District in 1977, where she worked for 15 years. She was an active member of the Methodist Church of Huntington. Isabel served her community in many ways, and was especially active in the Meals On Wheels organization in Huntington. Isabel was predeceased by her parents, John and Isabel Chapman; and brother, John Chapman. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Ed; a daughter, Nancy and her husband, John; sons, Donald and wife, Marty, and Robert and wife, Pat. She also leaves behind grandchildren, Ben Colona and Emily Colona; stepgrandchildren, Vince Jarecki and his wife, Caitlyn, Kristin Jarecki, Alyssa Jarecki, Susie Jones and husband, Al, Debbie Arco and husband, Jeff, and Vicki Denslow and husband, Ted; and several great-grandchildren; as well as a niece, Kathleen Chapman Bernard; and nephew, John Chapman and their families. Isabel was a member of the Good Shepard United Methodist Church in Richmond, Va. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to The Good Shepard United Methodist Church, 9155 Hungary Rd., Richmond, Va. 23294.
