Isabel June Feras

Isabel June Feras, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Elm Terrace Gardens in Lansdale, PA. She was 98 years old.
Born on July 2, 1926, in Philadelphia to Frank and Isabel Andrews, Isabel spent her early years in the city before moving with her family to New Jersey during her teenage years. She eventually settled in Hainesport, NJ, where she lived much of her adult life.
Isabel's life was a testament to resilience, adaptability, and a strong work ethic. Over the years, she embraced a variety of roles, from waitress and telephone switchboard operator to managing an electronics assembly line. Her vibrant personality and dedication left lasting impressions on her friends, co-workers, and loved ones.
In her retirement, Isabel cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who adored her warmth, wisdom, and adventurous spirit. She was an inspiration to all who knew her, living independently and on her own terms well into her 90s. Her bright outlook on life and quick sense of humor helped her form meaningful connections wherever she went. Remarkably, even at the age of 94, she was still driving and enjoyed visiting her favorite casino.
Isabel was preceded in death by her husband, John Feras; her son, Gary Poinsett; her daughter-in-law, Susan Dubell; and her brother, Bob Andrews.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, John Feras Jr. (Colleen) of North Wales, PA, and George Dubell; her grandchildren, Matt Dubell (Carole) of Marriottsville, MD, Jeffrey Dubell of Aurora, CO, Gary Poinsett Jr. (Kerry) of Concord, NC, Amy Poinsett of Rosewood, NC, Katie Feras of North Wales, PA, and Allie Feras (Matt Kent) of Buffalo, NY; as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
It was her request that she be cremated and that services be private.

Isabel's remarkable life and indomitable spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed.
