82, of New Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Fatima Hospital, North Providence. Born in El Salvador, she embarked on a journey that would lead her to America, where she settled in Massachusetts for the past 60 years.
Isabel was a dedicated housekeeper, known for her strong work ethic and her unwavering commitment to caring for those around her. She found immense joy in her role as a caregiver, always going above and beyond to serve her family and friends. Isabel had a warm and inviting personality, which shone brightly during her cherished Thanksgiving gatherings. Her passion for cooking was evident in the delicious meals she prepared, bringing loved ones together around the dining table in celebration of both food and family.
An example of kindness and selflessness, Isabel was always willing to lend a helping hand to others without expecting anything in return. Her generous spirit extended beyond her immediate family, as she touched many lives in her community with her friendly disposition and her willingness to assist anyone in need. In her leisure time, she enjoyed engaging in word search puzzles, a favorite pastime that reflected her vibrant and thoughtful nature.
Isabel leaves behind her devoted daughter, Griselda Mattzer, and her husband, Adan. The legacy of Isabel continues through her cherished grandchildren: Mario, Sonia, Cesar, Evelyn, and Jose, as well as her great-granddaughter, Maliyah Isabel. She also leaves behind Adrian Fuentes. Isabel was preceded in death by her mother, Jesus Lopez; her father, Benito Lopez; and her son, Jose Ramos.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Her Funeral Home Service will take place at 5 p.m. during the visiting hours. Burial will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 11 a.m. in Fairview Cemetery, Boston MA. Please gather at the cemetery entrance for 11 a.m.
