Isabel Orocio

Isabel Orocio, devoted daughter, sister, beloved mother of three, adored grandmother, sister in Christ and a resident of McKinney, Texas, passed away February 17, 2026 at the age of 75. She was born on December 17, 1950, to her loving parents, Felix Orocio and Victoria Orocio in Amargos, Coahuila, Mexico. Isabel was raised in Mexico, where she attended school and later moved to McKinney, Texas where she developed the strong values of perseverance, dedication and gained her faith in our Lord Jesus Christ that would guide her throughout her life. From an early age, she understood the importance of hard work and carried that commitment with her wherever she went. Isabel retired and was a very hard worker.

Above all, Isabel was an excellent mother to her three children and best grandmother to her six grandchildren. They were Isabel's greatest blessings and the center of her world. She poured her love, guidance, and prayers into their lives, teaching them the importance of faith and kindness. Her home was filled with warmth, encouragement, and unconditional love.

She found joy in singing, often lifting her voice in praise. She loved writing her own lyrics to songs and poems, drawing, crossword puzzles, cooking for others, and taking long peaceful walks (from downtown McKinney to Ross). She faithfully volunteered at church, Templo de Alabanza Eben-Ezer and found deep purpose in sharing the word of God with others. Her strong faith, servant's heart, and gentle spirit touched many lives and will be remembered always.

Isabel is survived by her children, Nadia and husband Michael Garza, Crista Orocio and Felix and wife, Alejandra Lopez; Grandchildren, Azlyne, Jessica, Jairea Garza, Zion Orocio, Galilea and Israel Lopez; brothers and sisters, Manuel Orocio, Guadalupe Gutièrrez, Jesus Orocio, Alma Orocio, Juan Orocio, Martin Orocio, Martha Mejia; and a host of extended family members and friends, who will miss her and cherish her memory.

Isabel was preceded in death by her parents Felix and Victoria Orocio, brothers and sisters: Dulce Maria Santibáñez, Antonia Orocio, Obdulia Santibáñez, Victoria Orocio, Felix Orocio, Antonio Orocio, Ramon Orocio and Jesusita Flores.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM, Thursday, February 26, 2026, at First Baptist Church of McKinney, 1615 W. Louisiana St, McKinney, Texas 75069. Following the funeral, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013, for a committal service.

Isabel Orocio, hija devota, hermana, querida madre de tres, adorada abuelita, hermana en Cristo y residente de McKinney, Texas. Falleció el 17 de Febrero del ano 2026 a la edad de 75 años. Nació el 17 de Diciembre del 1950, hija de sus amorosos padres, Félix Orocio y Victoria (Barrera) Orocio en la ciudad de Amargos, Coahuila, México. Isabel creció en México, donde asistió a la escuela y posteriormente se mudó a McKinney, Texas, donde desarrolló fuertes valores de perseverancia, dedicación y adquirió su fe en nuestro Señor Jesucristo, que la guiaría durante toda su vida. Desde pequeña, comprendió la importancia de trabajar duro, y llevó ese compromiso consigo a dondequiera que fuera. Isabel estaba jubilada y fue una trabajadora inagotable.

Por encima de todo, Isabel fue una excelente madre para sus tres hijos y la mejor abuelita para sus seis nietos. Ellos fueron las mayores bendiciones de Isabel y el centro de su mundo. Ella derramó su amor, guía y oraciones en sus vidas, enseñándoles la importancia de la fe y la bondad. Su hogar estaba lleno de calidez, ánimo y amor incondicional.

Encontraba alegría cantando, a menudo elevando su voz en alabanza. Le encantaba escribir sus propias letras de canciones y poemas, dibujar, resolver crucigramas, cocinar para otros y dar largas caminatas tranquilas. A ella le gustaba caminar del centro de McKinney hasta la tienda Ross. Servía fielmente como voluntaria en la iglesia, Templo de Alabanza Eben-Ezer, y encontraba un profundo propósito en compartir la palabra de Dios con los demás. Su Fuerte fe y espíritu gentil tocaron muchas vidas y siempre serán recordados.

Isabel deja a sus hijos, Nadia y su esposo Michael Garza, Crista Orocio, Félix y su esposa Alejandra Lopez. Nietos, Azlyne, Jessica, Jairea Garza, Zion Orocio, Galilea e Israel López; hermanos y hermanas, Manuel Orocio, Guadalupe Gutièrrez, Jesús Orocio, Alma Orocio, Juan Orocio, Martín Orocio, Martha Mejía; y una gran cantidad de familiares y amigos, quienes la extrañarán y atesorarán su memoria.

Isabel fue precedida en muerte por sus padres Félix y Victoria Orocio, hermanos y hermanas: Dulce María Santibáñez, Antonia Orocio, Obdulia Santibáñez, Victoria Orocio, Félix Orocio, Antonio Orocio, Ramón Orocio y Jesusita Flores.

El servicio funerario se llevará a cabo a la 1:00 p.m. El Jueves 26 de Febrero del 2026, en First Baptist Church of McKinney, 1615 W. Louisiana St, McKinney, Texas 75069. Después del funeral, la procesión se dirigirá a Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013, para el entierro.
