Isabelle D. Ahlstrom, age 97, of Alliance, passed away on May 12, 2025.
She was born August 26, 1927 to William C. & Florence (Stahl) Hunt.
Isabelle was a 1945 graduate of Alliance High School.
She worked for 19 years as a waitress at the Alliance Country Club.
Isabelle was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, where she was extremely active with Senior Bible Class, Club 55, and Deborah’s Circle. She also was a Den Mother, and Den Leader Coach in Cub Scouts. She enjoyed reading, crafting and to travel and camp.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Gary A. Ahlstrom; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Ahlstrom, whom she married April 2, 1948 and passed away in 2001; son, William E. Ahlstrom; four sisters; and three brothers.
Funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Monday, May 19th at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Tim Muse officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service. Interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 3295 S Union Ave, Alliance, OH 44601.
