Isaiah Coho was born to Miriam Coho & Brandon Johnson on July 27th 1998 in Shiprock New Mexico. He departed this earthly life in the early morning hours of October 25th 2025 in Phoenix Arizona. Isaiah was raised by many of his extended family in Utah, New Mexico & Colorado. His early school years he was raised by his Grand Parents Oliver & Bersina Coho with his Brother Ian, Aunt Nicole, Uncles Brandon & Bernard. While living in Shiprock Isaiah worked the family food stand where he was introduced to his life's purpose, serving others. In 2006 He moved to Phoenix AZ with his Mother Miriam, who was pursuing higher education & working full time. Isaiah graduated from Raymond Kellis H.S. where he exceled academically & was a star volleyball player.
His passion to serve others led him to jobs working at Life Style Resort communities as a Sous Chef, Server/Bartender at Paradise Valley Country Club, Omni Resort in Management and eventually Alden fine dining at the Phoenix Art Museum. He also received his Associates Degree in Hospitality Management from Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. Isaiah touched many lives in his time working & made several great friends.
Isaiah was surrounded by love, he could light up any room with his energy & presence. He had a close bond with his family, especially his brother Ian; who was always with Isaiah on his adventures. He will be missed at family functions, where he would always make everyone laugh. He is survived by his Partner Tyler (who supported, encouraged & loved Isaiah), Mother Miriam (who was his Hero), Sister Ava (who he would constantly spoil w/ gifts), Step-Dad Bart (who was always Proud of him), Step-Brothers: Austin, Adam & Alex. Isaiah & Ian became close with his new family in Arizona and he considered Phoenix his home.
A memorial service to be held on Sunday November 9th at 10am, Messinger Funeral Home, 901 S. Westerly Rd., Payson, AZ.
