Isaiah Sutton Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home & Crematory on Feb. 13, 2026.
May 19, 1993 - February 6, 2026

Isaiah Rashod Sutton, a man who brought color and life to everyone he met, passed away on February 6, 2026, surrounded by his husband, family, and friends. At just 32 years old, Isaiah left a mark on this world that won't soon be forgotten.

Born and raised in North Philly, Isaiah spent the last four years living in Glenolden, carrying that North Philly spark with him wherever he went. He was a proud graduate of Peirce College, where he earned his Associate's degree in business administration, and he dedicated his professional life to helping others through his work in both healthcare and retail. He was the literal life of the party. If you knew Isaiah, you knew his style; he had a sharp eye for fashion and was famous for his extravagant, high-fashion nails that were always a conversation starter.

For seven years, Isaiah was the heart and light of his husband, Edwin Thomas Minguela. Married for four of those years, they were truly inseparable. Whether they were out on a new adventure, shopping, catching a movie, or sharing a meal at HotPot or a seafood boil, Isaiah made every moment feel special. He was a man of many talents and simple pleasures; a gifted cook and baker with a serious sweet tooth, he loved to sing and enjoyed feeding people just as much as he enjoyed a good meal himself. He was just as happy being out on the town as he was at home, playing video games or curled up watching Anime, cooking shows, and reality TV with Edwin and their four-legged kids: their dogs Louie and Sammie, and their cats Zaylie and Ralphie.

Throughout his life, Isaiah faced many trials and tribulations, but he never let them define him. No matter what life threw his way, he managed to keep going with a strength and resilience that inspired those around him.

He is survived by his husband, Edwin; his parents, Keia Sutton-Moore and James Crawford, and Michael Moore and Kisiah Hall; and his grandmothers, Annie Beckham and Valarie Moore (his beloved Nana). He also leaves behind a massive family of aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with a close-knit circle of friends he considered family. He has gone on to join his grandmother, Ann Hall, and his grandfather, Stanley Cole.

Isaiah lived life loud and stayed true to himself every single day. He taught us all that you can never be "too much" when you're being exactly who you are. He will be deeply, deeply missed.
