Isaias Perez

Isaias Perez, age 53, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in the JMS Burn Center at Doctors' Hospital in Augusta. Isaias was born in Diaz Ordaz, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Matias and Concepcion Perez, and then moved to Baxley, where he has lived for the past 48 years. He is known for being a hard worker, willing to help anyone, and always smiling, even on bad days. He was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with the family.

Isaias is preceded in death by his parents, Matias and Concepcion Perez; a brother, Arnoldo Perez; and a special father, Timothy Courson.

Survivors include his son, Dylan Green; his daughters, Ashley Perez (Stevie Ferguson), Sabrina Arnold (T.J.), Starr Perez, Tera Green, and Tori Green; his brothers, Marco Perez (Angela) of Alma, and Juan Perez (Ann) of Baxley; sisters, Maria Pina (Ignacio) of Baxley, Sara Pina (Jose) of Baxley, and Yesenia Pina (Juan) of Baxley; his grandchildren, Lina Ferguson, Lane Ferguson, Kaeleigh Arnold, Tracie Arnold, Stella Arnold, and Olivia Arnold; along with the mother of his children, Michele Bush, and special friends, Suzanne Courson, Shyann Courson, and Leigh Ann Courson.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 3 pm in the Chapel of Nobles Funeral Home, with Reverend Joe and Brittney Parete officiating. Visitation will be an hour before the service. Interment will follow in the Omega Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Luis Laredo, Rey Galindo, Jorge Perez, William Jr. Perez, Memo Pina, and Stevie Ferguson.

Honorary Pallbearers are the Employees of Courson's Paint and Body, C&W Farms, and Appling Blueberries.

The family will be gathering at Michele Bush's home at 176 Bluff Dr., Baxley, GA 31513.
