Isaih Atwood Obituary
Isaih attended school in Horatio, AR until he was 8 years old. He moved to Muskogee, OK at age 8, attending Hildale Public Schools until age 13. Isaih attended Fort Gibson High School as a Sophomore. Isaih loved life. He was always laughing, and enjoyed making those he loved laugh. Isaih liked being outdoors. He loved traveling to experience new people, places, and things, and making new memories. When Isaih would come inside, he would kick back with friends and play video games. Isaih was very passionate about spending time with his family and friends.
Isaih is lovingly survived by his parents, Teler Akers and Zach Hobbs of Fort Gibson, Christopher Trent of Muskogee, and Chris Atwood of Horatio, Arkansas; brothers, Julien Trent, Ocie Hobbs, Ashden Hobbs, Alex Hobbs, and Aaren Hobbs of Fort Gibson; sister, Kenzie Trent of Fort Gibson; grandparents, Jody and Sonny Akers of Poteau, Jake and Melissa Atwood of Horatio, Arkansas, Vicki Trent of Muskogee, and Scott Hobbs of Fort Gibson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
A visitation will be held Friday, December 8, 2023, with the family receiving friends 5PM-7PM at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home in Muskogee.
A celebration of Isaih's life will be 12:00PM Saturday, December 9, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Fort Gibson with Reverend Logan Lambert officiating. Blake Cox, Steven Cooper, Ashden Hobbs, Alex Miller, Rylan Perdum, and Case McDonald will be serving as casket bearers. Teler Akers, Nashoba Watson, Karli Dixon, and Kaiden Murdaugh will serve as honorary casket bearers. Internment and committal prayers will follow at Fort Gibson Citizens Cemetery.
The family of Isaih Joe Atwood has entrusted his care, service, and burial to Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Homes.
