Visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home 481 Gidney Ave of Friday November 29th from 5PM ~ 8PM. A Funeral Service will be held at The Upper Room at 1 Linden Ave, Middletown, on Saturday November 30th at 11AM. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Middletown.

I will never forget the time Ismael was around 6 or 7 years old, and he was supposed to spend the night at our home with his half-brothers. Before Candy could get back on the road we had to call her back to come and pick him up. He was very close to his mom and did not want to stay without her. I always admired the closeness and bond that the two of them had. I did my best to have that same connection with my sons (his half-brothers). The last time I saw Ismael he was much older than the 6 or 7, year-old that I had seen in the past. He was a grown man. I can say he was always respectful, kind, and polite toward me and I can only hope he knew that his half-brothers respected and loved him.
The name Ismael has biblical greatness to it. It is Hebrew for "God will hear". I am sure God heard all of Ismael's prayers, for himself as well as his loved ones.
To Candy, the Torres family, and friends I am sending you all my condolences, and I hope that you all help one another gain the strength you may need at this time and going forward.
