Isoclare Ruby Halliburton departed this life peacefully on Sunday, June 29, 2025, after a courageous battle with bladder cancer.
Isoclare was born on March 10, 1942, in Dallas Castle, Saint Andrew, Jamaica, to Obediah and Hannah Hibbert. The second of identical twins, she grew up in a close-knit family. Despite facing physical challenges, including foot discomfort that often kept her from school, she pursued her education and developed a quiet resilience that would follow her throughout her life.
She later moved to the Grand Bahamas, where she married Noel Alexander Halliburton, a skilled mechanic and welder, on May 9, 1967, in Freeport. Their union was blessed with six children. Together, they built a life rooted in love and hard work.
Isoclare was a dressmaker in Jamaica, renowned for her meticulous handiwork and refined styles. After relocating to Brooklyn, NY, for about 15 years, she then moved to Florida, where she worked as a Nurse's Aide.
Isoclare loved quiet hobbies. She enjoyed crocheting, making pretty things with yarn and a hook. She also enjoyed doing Word Search puzzles, where she looked for hidden words in a grid. These activities brought her peace and happiness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one child, and siblings Conroy, Rupert, Winnifred, and Isabel.
She leaves to cherish her memory:
Her children: Carol (Edward), Jackie (Vaughn), Michelle, Wayne, and Anthony Grandchildren: Joseph, Tatiana, Anthony, Stephon, Natasha, Wayne Jr., and Kashai Great-grandchildren: Mia and Jaylen Nieces: Jean, Nadine, and Nicole, Nephews: Lester, Alexander, Everton, Everol, Wayne, and Michael along with countless cousins, extended family, and friends who will forever remember her quiet wisdom, enduring faith, and loving heart.
