Ivalou experienced deep sorrow with the passing of her beloved husband, Charles P. Sisson, with whom she shared 39 wonderful years, and her son, Jeffrey Lee Sisson. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Cedric and Ruby (Everitt) Stevenson.
An active member of the Clarkesville Christian Church for many years, Ivalou immersed herself in faith and community. She loved to read and frequently attended church services, finding solace and joy in the embrace of her faith. Ivalou cherished traveling adventures alongside her husband and sister, creating treasured memories that would last a lifetime.
Though her passing was sudden, we take comfort in knowing that Ivalou is now in heaven with Jesus, her son, Jeff, and her parents as well as holding her dear Charles' hand, smiling down upon us all. Her sweet, loving nature and ever-present smile were infectious, reminding us to celebrate life and share love. As we gather to honor her memory, we will forever hold onto the lessons she imparted and the love she so freely gave.
Ivalou Sisson will be deeply missed, but the light she brought into our lives will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
