Ivan B. Lundstrom, 85, of Gladstone, MI and formerly of Gwinn, MI, passed away on August 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at HSHS St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI.
Ivan was born on March 21, 1940 in Litchfield, MN to Leonard and Minnie (Flemming) Lundstrom. He was a graduate of Northfield High School. After high school, Ivan enlisted in the United States Air Force.
Ivan served with the United States Air Force for over 20 years until his honorable discharge. After the military he worked at Northrop Aviation, was a member of the Gwinn VFW Post 5670 and owned Ivan's Woodworking Products in Gwinn.
Ivan married the former Judy A. Chase on June 17, 1961.
Ivan enjoyed fishing, football, camping and snowmobiling. He was a member of the Little Lake American Legion Post 349, Gwinn VFW Post 5670 and the Snowcats Snowmobile Club in the 70's.
Ivan is survived by his wife, Judy A. Lundstrom of Gladstone; daughter, Vonda Lundstrom of Denver, CO; son, Todd (Daphne) Lundstrom of Gwinn; grandchildren, Markie, Amber, Meghan, Jeffrey, David, Travis and Ashley; 13 great-granchildren; siblings, Delbert (Jan) Lundstrom, Carol Clark, and Mylan Lundstrom; and son-in-law, Lee Spilling of Marquette, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Minnie Lundstrom; his daughter, Carolyn Spilling; and siblings, Elmer, Wyman, Emery, Nyle and Phylis.
A graveside service with military honors will be held for Ivan on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 1 p.m. at the Gwinn Cemetery. A celebration of life with food and fellowship will begin at 2 p.m. at the Little Lake American Legion Post 349.
