Ivan Drue Stoddard, age 67, of Myton, Utah, loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend has returned to our Heavenly Father on November 8, 2024, at his home, with family by his side.
He was born on November 27, 1956, in Winterset, Iowa, to Raymond Harold , Jr. and Laura Dial Stoddard.  He married Sherri Dannenberg Uresk on December 13, 2003. They were sealed on December 13, 2004 in the Vernal Utah Temple.
Ivan is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He served a mission to Missouri Independence Mission.  He held many callings: Cub Scout Leader, Sunbeam Teacher, Young Men’s Leader, Family History Consultant, Elder Quorum Counselor, High Priest Group Leader, and Elder’s Quorum Teacher.  Ivan loves the Gospel and always lived his life so that he would be worthy to meet the Savior.
Ivan was employed as a derrick man and driller in the oilfield.  He owned his own carpet cleaning business, and was a FedEx Independent Contractor.  He was an insulator with Gary’s Insulation, a pipe inspector with Tuboscope, and a sweeper at Myton Elementary.  He was a very hard worker in all the jobs he had.
Ivan was a very talent person. He overhauled engines and vehicle repairs, remodeled the family’s Roosevelt home, and he was a very talented self-taught artist.  He loved camping, fishing, and 4-wheeling with the family.
He will be missed by many family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Sherri; children: Alicia (Matt) Price, Krystal Uresk, Matt (Keisha) Uresk, Michelle “Bubba” Uresk; grandchildren: Daxx, KryzLynn, Ashton, Carter, Ava, Jaley, Xabier, Addalyn, Kage and Cody; brothers and sisters: Denise Barrett, Beth (Dale) Collins, Reed Stoddard, Grant (KayLyn) Stoddard; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 11:00 a.m. at the  Myton Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,  (75 East Main), with a viewing from 10:00-10:45 a.m.
Burial will be at the Myton City Cemetery.
