Ivanelle M. Bolsinger, 93, of Guttenberg, Iowa passed away Monday, February 10, 2025, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital in Guttenberg.
Visitation will be held from 9 – 10 a.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025, at United Methodist Church in Guttenberg where funeral services will commence at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Colesburg. Rev. Neil Hofer will officiate.
Ivanelle was born May 28, 1931, in Mallory Township, Iowa, daughter of Frank and Maggie (Noack) Moser. She attended school through the 8th grade. She married Harold Bolsinger on June 23, 1953 at the Methodist Church in Guttenberg.
She was a gracious professional at hospitality. She always offered food and drink, often asking several times if you stopped by. She enjoyed composing poems and rhymes in birthday cards and special occasions.
Baking was her passion, especially molasses and Pride of Ioway cookies which she shared with relatives, friends, and strangers. She was always well kept and particular in keeping her home tidy.
Ivanelle is survived by her sister, Marjorie Hefel; and several nieces and nephews.
Ivanelle was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; parents; siblings: Alvina Sprague, Ruth Dahlstrom, Clyde Moser, Arlene Fischer, Clark Moser, Ila Weyant, Ivan Moser, Harvey Moser, Loren Moser, Velma Moser and special friend, Irvin Rodas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Cemetery in Colesburg.
