Iverne (Ivy) Eulene Brock, 78, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She was loved, respected, and cherished by all who were lucky enough to have known her.
Ivy was born in Poughkeepsie, AR, to parents Eulon and Ruby Goff. The family moved to Wichita, KS when she was 3 years old. She attended East Highschool, and then nursing school at Wesley Medical Center. During her time in Wichita, she lovingly earned the nickname "The Gestapo" from her siblings.
She married Larry Brock in 1972 and had two sons, Adam and Cory. She lived with them in Valley Center, KS before moving to Lawrence, KS, and then moved with her husband to Texas after retirement later in life.
Ivy is survived by her husband Larry of 53 years, her two sons Adam and Cory, her daughter-in-law Sarah, her beloved grandchildren Owen, Sayla, Henry, Louisa, her sister Wanda (Aunt Genie), nieces, nephews, and friends that she loved with her whole heart.
Ivy will be laid to rest on March 7, 2026, in Hobart, OK. The funeral will be a small private event, with a celebration of life in which the details will be determined at a later date.
The family has requested that in lieu of sending flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association.
