Born on May 29, 1957, in Indianapolis, he lived a life marked by his commitment to family and a passion for the open road, often traveling alongside his beloved wife, Mary Brock, who predeceased him.
Larry’s career as a local and over-the-road truck driver not only shaped his professional identity but also became a cherished adventure he shared with Mary. Together, they navigated the highways, creating memories that would last a lifetime. His dedication to his work was matched only by his unwavering love for his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Pam Lyons (Randy), Shellie Redwine (Miach), and Ashley Hebert, who continue his legacy of love and dedication. Larry was a proud grandfather, leaving behind a remarkable lineage that includes grandchildren Brent Hight (Malori), Bradley Hight (Madison), Daniel Peterson, Brayden Hight, Jayce Martin, and Madilyn Peterson. His family tree extends further with great-grandchildren Houston Hight, Maylee Hight, and Rosalie Hight, who will remember him for his warmth and guidance.
Larry's memory will also live on in the hearts of his mother, Sue Cromer; brother, Garry Brock (Jan); and sisters, Rita Lee (Scott) and Loretta Pearson (Steve). He was an uncle to many nieces and nephews, fostering deep familial bonds throughout his life.
Visitation services will be held on March 2, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel, located at 2433 East Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana 46143. This gathering will allow family and friends to honor Larry's life and share in the remembrance of the wonderful man he was, greatly missed by those he leaves behind.
