I am the sister of William Torain. I have spoken to Ivy a few vtimes; however my sisters and I feel like we know her. William speaks of her with the love, respect, and affection as one would of a childhood friend. The Hodges family send our condolences and prayers.

Ivy and I have been friends since we were 8 years old. She is the only person left who can remember what I remember about the old days of Walnut street. My heart is heavy as it is hard to lose your best friend of a virtual lifetime. God has her under his protection and care now. She is at peace. May God comfort the family during this time of loss.
With loving memories and fondness,

I didn't know you Ms. Craycroft by seeing or meeting you in person but by just hearing your sweet voice I knew you were a beautiful person with a beautiful spirit that I now know affectionately as "Aunt Ivy"... you have gone to meet the King! Rest easy... Aunt Ivy. Love and Condolences to my friend Beverly Lewis and the entire family.

I never saw her face in person, but I received several pictures from her through her grandchildren. This beautiful woman was a Christian believer in the Lord, and had a unconditional love for her family. My Great-Aunt Ivy (My Grandfather's baby sister)will be missed forever in my heart!
