Mr. J.C. Cooper Jr. was born on June 6, 1966, to the late Mr. J.C. Cooper Sr. and Mrs. Mammie Cooper. He peacefully departed this life at his home surrounded by his loving family on September 27, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. Cooper Sr. and Mammie Cooper; his siblings Kim Cooper, Pamela Hinds, Kenneth Randolph; and his beloved granddaughter, Armani Farr. J.C. accepted Christ at an early age and united with the church. He was educated in the Corrigan-Camden Independent School District, where he attended Corrigan-Camden High School. After graduation, he served honorably in the United States Army for three years. Upon his return, he was blessed to reunite with the love of his life, Richarrell Farr. J.C. also discovered a new passion in music, opening his own store, J & R Music. He enjoyed being a DJ and hosted several events, bringing people together through his love for music.
A skilled and dedicated worker, J.C. made his living in construction. Known for his generosity and willingness to help anyone in need, he never hesitated to lend a hand, always showing up with a kind heart and ready spirit.
He leaves to cherish his memory: A Loving and Devoted Wife: Richarrell Farr; Children: Richard Farr (Brittiny), DeMonica Newsome (Ashton), Nigel Farr, Breanna Shine, J’Cenae Cooper; Grandchildren: De’Brian, Pharrell, Grayzan, Ashton II, Tiana, JaMarri, Malachi, Dacorian, Jkwon, and N’Ziya, Malayiah, K’Lanii, and Koi; Siblings: Jim Cooper, Patricia Cooper-Williams, Demetrice Cooper (Brenda), Minister Terence Cooper, Joe Cooper, Joseph Cooper, Patrick Cooper, Derrick Cooper( Arthelia), Sharonda Cooper, Ola Milton Gegeloe, Johnnie Randolph, and Cornelious Randolph. A host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends also mourn his loss and celebrate the life he lived. J.C. will be remembered for his unwavering loyalty, selflessness, and quiet strength. His presence, laughter, and love will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
