J. Cooley Obituary
He was born May 31, 1976 at Pine Bluff to Mrs. Dorothy Smith Cooley of White Hall and the late Jack McNally Cooley. He attended White Hall High School and was a self-employed paving contractor. J. C. was a "jack of all trades", never met a stranger, and loved people. A "social butterfly" like his Mom, he could talk to anyone giving a kind word or advice and had a smile that could light up the room.
J. C. was preceded in death by his father, Jack McNally Cooley; and three brothers, Jack, Abraham, and Elijah Cooley.
Survivors include his wife, April Harrison Cooley; his mother, Dorothy Smith Cooley; two daughters, Jackie Jasmine Harrison (Jimmy) and Selena Star Wells (Robert); two brothers, Johnny Cooley and Bennie Cooley; three sisters, Jackie Brewer, Grace Cooley, and Sunni; five grandchildren, Jimmy, Anastasia, Renesmee, Robert, and Jasmine; along with many other loving family and friends.
The wake will begin Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at Harvest Time Church. J. C.'s funeral service will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery by Robinson & Fuller White Hall Chapel.
