J. Krystal Henson, 75, of Carbondale, passed away Friday, January 2, 2026.
She was born July 3, 1950, in Emporia, Kansas, the daughter of Robert Ernest and Alice Marie (Dohring) Lee. She received her Bachelor's Degree in mathematics from the University of Alaska.
Mrs. Henson was a member of the Carbondale Church of Christian Fellowship, Carbondale, KS.
Survivors include her son, Lance Lingenfelter, Hutchinson, KS; her sister, Jane Steere, Alaska; her brother, Edward Lee, Americus, KS; her grandchildren, Dustin, Austin, and Brittany as well as great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and her dog Chewy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Christopher Lingenfelter, and a granddaughter.
Krystal was cremated. A graveside inurnment service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the Dunlap Cemetery, Dunlap, Kansas. To leave a message for her family online, please visit the guest book below.
