J. Barry Jesmer

Rochester: Passed away peacefully on Thursday October 8, 2009 at age 78. Predeceased by his loving wife Marie Jesmer. Survived by his children, Jack (Kris) Jasmer Jr., Kathleen (Kenneth) Randall, Marea (J. David) Mahoney; brother, Eugene (Thelma) Jesmer, Jerry (Judy) Jesmer; sister, Doris Stoffel; grandchildren, Eric, Benjamin, Adam, Bryan, Lynn, Siobhan, Ciara, and Liam; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. Barry would like to be remembered for his commitment to municipal service, his 25 years of teaching Public Administration at SUNY Brockport, receipt of LeMoyne College’s Distinguished Alumni Award, and his loyal participation in the Nocturnal Adoration Society, Philosophers Club of Rochester, and being a lifelong blood donor. No Prior Calling. His funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday 9:30 AM at Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Ave. Internment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to LeMoyne College, Right to Life of Rochester, or Aquinas Institute, in his memory. No prior calling. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 9:30 AM at Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Ave. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
