J.L. Price Obituary
J.L. Price, 85 of Sylvan Springs, passed away November 17, 2025. He is proceeded in death by his wife Alice Hannah Price; son, Tony Price; parents, Jessie and Bessie Price; brothers, Doug Price and AZ Price.
He is survived by his sons, Jimmy (Sherry) Price and Richard Price; grandchildren, Logan (Alexis) Price, Luke Price, Joshua Price, Stacy Price, and Johathan Price; great granddaughter, K-Lynn Price; brothers, Victor Price, James Allen (Barbara), and Boyce Price (Vera); and a host of nieces and nephews.
J.L. loved to hunt, fish, and play golf. He was an avid Alabama fan; to him there were only three seasons: hunting season, fishing season and football season. He loved his family dearly, especially his grandkids. He will be truly missed.
A visitation will be held Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 5pm-7pm at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home, 1498 5th Avenue, Pleasant Grove, Alabama.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 21, 2025, at 11am at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home, 1498 5th Ave, Pleasant Grove, Alabama. The family will receive friends starting at 10am until the time of service. Rev. Terry Price, officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens in Bessemer, Alabama.
