Frances Marie Quick

Frances Marie Quick, age 89 of West Blocton, passed away at her residence on November 17, 2025 surrounded by her family. Frances was born February 25, 1936 as one of 4 children to the late Clarence Walker and Virginia Mary Higginbotham Simmons. Besides her parents, Mrs. Quick is also predeceased by her brothers, Donald and Pete Simmons. Survivors include her three daughters, Carol Sue Ratliff (William), Faye Oaks (Kenneth) and Judy Summers; brother, Phillip Morgan Simmons; 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.

Mrs. Quick was a caregiver for most of her professional life; taking care of others and showing them the love and compassion that she was known for. She always enjoyed taking care of other, whether it was her own family, friends or people she met.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 24, 2025 beginning at 10:30 AM in the chapel of Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home, 1498 5th Avenue, Pleasant Grove, Al 35127. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:30 AM. Interment will be held following the service, beginning at 12:00 PM, at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Trussville.
