Con profundo pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de J Jesús Mares, quien partió de este mundo el 4 de Febrero de 2026 en la comodidad de su hogar. En esos momentos finales, no estaba solo. Araceli, su hija mayor estaba a su lado, sosteniendo su mano mientras él tomaba su último aliento. Su esposa Maria y su hija Yadira tampoco se despegaron de su lado, dándole amor y cuidandolo en cada momento. Todos sus familiares que lo visitaron a diario, mostrandole lo mucho que significo para tanta gente. Esto nos consuela, sabiendo que dejó este mundo rodeado de amor. Su memoria vivirá por siempre en los corazones de quienes tuvieron el honor de conocerlo y amarlo.
Le precedieron en la muerte su madre, Maria Guadalupe López ; su padre, José Guadalupe Mares; y sus hermanos, Florentino Mares y Manuel Mares.
J Jesús Mares deja para honrar su memoria a su amada esposa, María Luz Mares Gutiérrez; sus hijos Araceli Reynolds y comprometido Anthony Jones, Yadira Cruz y esposo René Cruz, Víctor Mares, y Rosie Mares y esposo Rey Rodríguez. También le sobreviven 13 nietos y 1 bisnieto, quienes fueron una gran alegría y orgullo en su vida.
En sus años jóvenes, disfrutaba jugar al fútbol, una pasión que le traía alegría y camaradería. Pero, a medida que la vida avanzaba, su amor por ver televisión se convirtió en un elemento básico de nuestro hogar. Siempre podías contar con encontrarlo en su sillón favorito, con el control remoto en la mano, listo para compartir una risa o una historia sobre el programa que estaba viendo.
Jesus tenía un amor especial por la música. En las reuniones familiares o en las fiestas, su voz llenaba la habitación, trayendo sonrisas a nuestros rostros mientras cantaba una de sus muchas canciones favoritas. Esos momentos no eran solo entretenimiento; eran un testamento de su espíritu alegre y su capacidad para unir a las personas.
Incluso en los días antes de su muerte, cantó junto a Cheli la única canción que representaba todo lo que el significaba para ella. En un momento lleno de lágrimas, cantó junto a ella una última vez "Mi Viejo", creando un recuerdo que resonará por siempre en nuestros corazones.
Vivió una buena vida, llena de amor y risas. Aunque deseamos que pudimos haberlo tenido un poco más de tiempo, estamos agradecidos por los recuerdos y el legado que deja atrás.
J Jesús Mares será recordado por su fortaleza y su amor incondicional por su familia. Su ausencia deja un vacío profundo, pero su recuerdo permanecerá vivo por siempre.

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of J Jesús Mares, who left this world on February 4, 2026, in the comfort of his home. In those final moments, he was not alone. Araceli, his eldest daughter, was by his side, holding his hand as he took his last breath. His wife Maria and daughter Yadira also stayed close, giving him love and care every moment. All of his family members who visited him daily showed him how much he meant to so many people. This comforts us, knowing that he left this world surrounded by love. His memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who had the honor of knowing and loving him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Guadalupe López; his father, José Guadalupe Mares; and his brothers, Florentino Mares and Manuel Mares.
J Jesús Mares leaves behind his beloved wife, María Luz Mares Gutiérrez; his children Araceli Reynolds and fiancé Anthony Jones, Yadira Cruz and husband René Cruz, Víctor Mares, and Rosie Mares and husband Rey Rodríguez. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, who brought him great joy and pride in his life.
In his younger years, he enjoyed playing soccer, a passion that brought him joy and camaraderie. But as life progressed, his love for watching television became a staple in our home. You could always count on finding him in his favorite armchair, remote in hand, ready to share a laugh or a story about the show he was watching.
Jesus had a special love for music. At family gatherings or parties, his voice would fill the room, bringing smiles to our faces as he sang one of his many favorite songs. Those moments were not just entertainment; they were a testament to his joyful spirit and his ability to bring people together.
Even in the days before his death, he sang along with Cheli to the one song that represented everything he meant to her. In a moment filled with tears, he sang one last time with her, "Mi Viejo," creating a memory that will resonate in our hearts forever. He lived a good life, full of love and laughter. Although we wish we could have had a little more time with him, we are grateful for the memories and the legacy he leaves behind.
