A TIME TO LAUGH.... He enjoyed spending time with his close
family and friends.
Ja'kai attended the North Carolina Public School System and played many sports over the years including football and basketball. He had a passion for music and enjoyed being in the studio with friends creating music.
He was very witty, loyal, funny, charismatic, smart and had a heart of gold. He has touched the lives of many people who will forever love and miss his infectious laugh and smile.
A TIME TO GIVE.... He was very protective of his two sisters, and nephew who he cherished and loved spending time with. Ja'kai often told his nephew that he would always be by his side.
A TIME TO REST.... He departed this life on Wednesday,
July 9, 2025.

Ja'kai Ibn Amin Robinson leaves behind missing him: mother, Ms. Latimah Jones, two sisters, Laila Jones and Aniyah Robinson, grandparents, Kathy and Jamar Muhammad, Ella Frazier, Emily Robinson, Bernice Robinson, (predeceased) Alta Blanding, Timmy Blanding, nephews, Braylen Robinson, Noah Muhammad, aunts, Khadijah Muhammad, Valerie Jones Mosey, Latoya Jackson, Maya Wilkins, Laquandra Robinson, Trice Robinson, uncles, Darryle Robinson, Rashon Ward, special friends, Nasiya, and Zion and many other close friends and relatives.
