Jacalyn Stowe "Jackie" Morby

SCOTIA –
Jacalyn "Jackie" Stowe (Morby), 73, of Scotia, formerly of Schenectady, entered into rest on December 26, 2022, at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.
The daughter of the late William and Frances (Culver) Mastalos, Jacalyn was born on October 6, 1949, in Bristol, Vermont.
She was raised in Albany and graduated from Albany High School, class of 1967.
Jacalyn was a dedicated wife and homemaker, who will be warmly remembered as a strong-willed woman. She overcame many medical hurdles that others may not have been able to handle. Well groomed, Jackie could never go out without first checking her hair and makeup (even at 73).
Survivors include her children and their spouses: Lawrence Morby, Jr., Tracey Fowler (Brian) and Jennifer Fowler (John). She was grandmother to 8 grandchildren and great grandmother to 15 great grandchildren. Jackie is also survived by her siblings: Eva Mastalos, Sophie Scarnato, Sandy Matalvo and Stephen Yoncko. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
In addition to her parents, Jacalyn was predeceased by two husbands, Lawrence Morby and Hugh Stowe, as well as her daughter Samantha Morby and her sister Nancy Yoncko.
Jacalyn's family wishes to thank the ICU staff at Ellis Hospital for their wonderful and thoughtful care.
Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc.
Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with Jacalyn's Family from 4-6PM on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, in the Chapel of Simple Choices, Inc., 218 2nd Avenue, Troy, NY 12180, where a Memorial Service will commence at 6PM in the funeral home.
