I miss you so much Jacen, I don't know if can read this, but your the best cousin ever! I don't know if you remember this, but do you remeber that time me and Maceo were on the couch waching a scary movie and we all thought you were still a QT, and then the lights were turning on and off. Then Victorea came out freaked out and your brother was crying. So Victorea went out side with a knife, and couldn't see you. Right after that you came into the front door laughing, and saying you got us! After that you felt sorry for makeing your brother cry, you kept hugging him over and over. =)

Jacen Cain Lopez was my cousin and he played a lot of tricks and pranks on me... At the time they weren't funny or memorable but now that my time with him has past it means so much more to me than it ever did before...And to this day it is one of the most emotional days I have ever had in 13 years of living.May you rest in peace with all of the things you love and I can't for the day i get to see you again.

Never thought I'd have to deal with the pain of losing you, yet here I am, broken. I don't even know how to express the way I feel but I can say that I hurt, a lot. I think about u everyday and late at night when everyone is sleeping I think about u and the memories we shared and I just start to cry. I miss you soooooo much , God took you away from us way to soon.. I wish I could've told u how I really felt there was no time....I kept trying to get a hold of you but you wouldn't answer..after you passed whenever I was outside I would look up at the sky and know u were there somewhere, somewhere in heaven , because like I had been saying , heaven had received a new angle. Jacen Cain Lopez you were the most amazing person I know it's late but to be honest it's never to late to write to my amazing friend you were my Bestfriend and my protector you always stood up for me when I need you I loved having you in all my classes this year and in elementary school it was so fun and it sucked that I didn't have you in any of my classes in 7th grade because it would of been super fun and Jacen when I herd what happened I thought it was a dream but when I new it wasn't I cried myself to sleep and I didn't want to get up because I new if I got up I had to face my classes without you I was always used to seeing you and being your phone helper haha I had to make sure you didn't get it taken away and I was your hair checker your hair always looked good ha and the last time I saw you was 8th hour and when you left I was happy that I was the last one to see your amazing smile and that last smile and laugh will always be in my heart I LOVE YOU JACEN CAIN LOPEZ9/15/00-1/14/15 I will tell you all about it when I see you again until we meet again JACEN CAIN LOPEZ and then you can get back to protecting me and being an amazing bestfriend and me checking your hair thanks for looking down on us JACEN maybe you are still protecting me LOVE YOU JASON

I remember at 2 years old you could hold a conversation, you were so smart. I remember how your mom's eyes would light up talking about you. I remember watching you play football and thinking you're so good that you'll be an NFL football star someday! I remember how I heard Teo talk about your football skills like a proud father does. I remember how you would ask your mom to stay the night because you loved staying the night at our house. I remember how you would call me Scott's wife because you didn't remember my name. I remember your smile and most of all I remember your beautiful lashes.
I love you Jacen and will miss you dearly! You'll always reside in my heart for those we have held for a little while, we hold in our hearts forever.

you know, I never really met Jacen. i mean, i did, but it was at a basketball game against his school and month or so ago... He was a great guy. He was nice and he came over to us and wanted to relieve any tension between the teams prior to the game. Just being around him really boosted all of us, and even though we lost, I think the fact that we were able to talk to him and the fact that he was so friendly made it all better. Rest in peace, Jacen.

Although I did not know Jacen, my son went to the same school and this has touched me dearly and my heart goes out to the family for this terrible loss. I had a son that was born just weeks before Jacen on August 11th 2000 and got his angle wings much too soon as well. My heart breaks for all of you and will pray for comfort and healing for you all.
