Jack Bastian

I thank you Jack for being a man among men; for Queenie, for riding on the tail of that Ford truck, for being a good roll model. You were a man of honor and duty.

Visited a job site in PA he was building in the 60´s. Here he is crouching along the bank of the pond with my uncle Wilson Smith behind him. I swam in the pond he had a 2" x 10´´ diving board with a bulldozer anchoring it.

Lunch meetings at Grandma & Ginney's and all the available Bastian Men. Lots of Politics there. Only went to two of them. Uncle Jack said little, but when he spoke everyone listened. I Have a son like that who only speaks when something is important.
