Jack C. Baucom, 75, of Pleasureville, KY passed away September 15, 2025 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lagrange.
He was retired from the Ford Motor Company and a member of Franklinton Baptist Church.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Dana L. Baucom; his Mother, Marian E. Baucom; brothers, Gary and Robert (Bo) Baucom; sisters, Shirley McLennan and Fleta Casey.
He is survived by his son, Jack Michael Baucom; his daughter, Sherry L. Baucom, and his daughter-in-law, Suzi A. Tilton; sisters, Mary Peggy Merriman, Carol Masden (David) and Gerri Parker (Terry); his fiance, Shirley Malone; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Over the past twelve months, Jack proudly and courageously participated in a clinical trial stem cell cancer research project sponsored by the University of Louisville. His hope was that his participation would one day further scientific research for future cancer patients.
Jack was a loyal and caring husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, traveling the states, and being of service to others. He especially loved corny jokes, laughter and large platters of seafood. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Newcomer, East Louisville Chapel, located at 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243.
