Ira Oehler, 57, born in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
Ira is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Patty Mattingly; stepdaughter, Anna (Sam) Evans; stepson, Mickey Mattingly; and step grandchildren, Lauren and Luke Evans.
Ira was passionate about his role as a Programmer Analyst at the University of Louisville, working for the school for 18 years.
Ira has left a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of his family. He was a kind and hardworking man who will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
Per Patty and Ira’s wishes, cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be held privately.
