Jack David Bilodeau, 80, of Westford, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at one of his favorite retreats, Lake Winnisquam.
Born in Berlin, NH, on Halloween, 1944, Jack was the beloved son of Lionel and Ruth (Arenburg) Bilodeau. He was a proud graduate of St. Patrick's High School. Following graduation, Jack enlisted in the United States Army, serving honorably in Korea and Thailand before being discharged in 1968.
After his military service, Jack attended Suffolk University in Boston, where he earned his undergraduate and Babson College for his postgraduate degree. His time in Boston marked the beginning of a lifelong commitment as a devoted husband, father, “papa” and “pops.”
Jack was the cherished husband of Theresa (Turmel) Bilodeau, with whom he was looking forward to celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary in September. He was the proud father of three children: Jennifer (Ed Regan) Green, Jeffrey (Julie) and Jason (Elizabeth); and adored grandfather (“papa”) to eight grandchildren: Joseph (Paige) Green, Ryan (Sarah Pedersen) Green, Jacob Green, Jenna, Matthew, Jack, Luke, and Abigail. He was also a loyal provider of table scraps to seven beloved family dogs.
Jack is predeceased by his sister, Florence Richardson and brothers Bill and Freddy.
Throughout his life, Jack tirelessly balanced a successful career at TASC/Litton, where he retired as Chief Financial Officer in 2001, with an unwavering devotion to his family. Upon retirement, he became a full-time “papa,” achieving Greatest of All Time status in the hearts of his grandchildren.
Jack will be remembered for his kindness, directness and the joy he found in family gatherings by the lake. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be dearly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to Jack’s visitation on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 9:15 until 10:45 AM at BLESSED TRINITY PARISH - ST. CATHERINE OF ALEXANDRIA CHURCH, 107 N Main Street, Westford. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM. Burial to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Westford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jack’s memory to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (t2t.org.)
