Jack Monty Briggs Sr.

Jack Monty Briggs Sr, 72, passed away on March 5, 2026, in Palm Bay, Florida. He was born on November 10, 1953, in El Paso, Texas, the son of Jack and Terri Briggs.

Jack proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard. During his time stationed in Grand Isle, Louisiana, he met the love of his life, Betty. The two shared a devoted marriage of 50 years together. Following his military service, Jack worked for many years as a truck driver, a career he took great pride in. Known for his strong work ethic and dedication, he spent much of his life on the road before eventually retiring.

Jack will be remembered for his devotion to his family and the life he built through hard work and perseverance.

He is survived by his loving wife, Betty; children, Jack Jr (Shannon) Briggs, Sandra (her late husband Marcus) Mosely, and step-son Pat Perkins; grandchildren, Jessica, Brittany, Jasmine, BaiLeigh, Tra', Michael, Myah, Jayden, and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Kaiden, D'Moni, Elijah, Madeline, Zion, and Bronson.

Jack will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

There will be a Memorial service held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at a later date and time.
