Jack Britton Obituary

Born July 22, 1975 in Terre Haute, IN, he was the son of Brenda A. (Lynn) and Jack L. Britton, Sr. Jack attended the Ashtabula County Vocational School and was a 1994 graduate of CHS.
Jack loved spending time outdoors and could often be found fishing with his best friend, Dennis.
A true aquatics enthusiast, he kept multiple fish tanks at home and enjoyed collecting a variety of species. He also loved camping, hiking local trails and spending time in nature. A Cleveland Browns fan, Jack also enjoyed watching Jeopardy, Wrestling, listening to music, shooting pool and cooking. Recently, he found a new companion in his dog, Frankie.
Jack was loved by many. He inspired those around him and was always there for friends, who meant the world to him. He leaves behind a legacy of Love, Laughter and Memories that will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his daughter, Carly {Arie) Barnes; grandchildren, Arie Jr., Mason, Carson and Brendan; siblings, Sherri Britton, Lisa Britton and Mike (Nicole) Castellano; maternal Grandmother, Betty Lynn; Aunts: Barbara (Paul)Vargo, Becky (Mike) Dalrymple, Bonnie (Rob) Nadolny; uncle, Bruce (Vee Loomis) Lynn; several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nephews and many dear friends who will miss him deeply.
He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandfather, Robert Lynn; his cousin Paul M. Vargo and his faithful companion Max.
A celebration of life will be held, Sunday, July 27, 2025 from 1PM-3PM at the Conneaut Eagles Lodge #408, 171 Main St., Conneaut.
Contributions can be made to the APL, 5970 Green Road; Ashtabula, OH 44030 in his memory.
So cast aside your sadness and grab your fishing pole, there's fish to be caught and I'll see you on the other side.

Jack and I were going to string `old hippie style bead curtains". The first one was going up at the head of the hallway as soon as his ceiling was done. He waited such a very long time for the job to be completed, and was afraid that the entire roof of his trailer would collapse. All his hopes were on his very busy Uncle who worked for the city.

Jack and his little sidekick Frankie. I was quite fond of both fellows. I am finding that I am at a loss quite often, as I´m sure many others are. I go to pick up the phone to ring him up, and have to pause..... gone from my sight, but never from my heart
