**In Loving Memory of Jack Franklin Davidson**
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jack Franklin Davidson, age 86, who departed this life on December 11, 2025, in his beloved hometown of Waynesboro, TN. He was born and raised on Hardins Creek on November 11, 1939, Jack was the cherished son of the late Alfred Franklin and Mae Devers Davidson.
Jack was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Faye Davidson, on October 26, 1982. He was a proud veteran where Jack honorably served in the United States Army National Guard for eleven years, exemplifying the values of courage and commitment that defined his character.
He was a proud alumnus of the University of Tennessee at Martin and dedicated 40 years of his life to the Tennessee Department of Health and Environment as an Environmentalist, where he made a lasting impact through his work.
Jack was a devoted member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Clifton Mason Lodge.
As we celebrate his life, we remember his passion for tractors, especially Massy Ferguson and old John Deere tractors. Jack's enjoyment of connecting with people and their genealogy and always finding a way back to his family or other families. His sharpness for dates and a keen eye for finding things on the roadside. The countless hours tending to his cattle and bailing hay. Above all, Jack deeply cherished his family farm. It was not just a place-but a living legacy.
