Gregory Allen Holder

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gregory Allen Holder, age 59, who left us on December 18, 2025. He was born on August 6, 1966, in Linden, TN he was the beloved son of D.L. Holder and the late Odie Horner Holder.
Gregory was not only a dedicated Foreman Machinist at TVA for a decade, but he was also a man who truly appreciated the beauty of life. His love for the outdoors was evident in everything he did, whether it was working on his trucks, spending quiet moments fishing, or the thrill of a hunting adventure. He found joy in nature, and those who knew him can attest to his warm spirit and zest for life.
Gregory's legacy will be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. He was a wonderful soul who lived life to the fullest, and he will be profoundly missed.
He is survived by his son, Hunter Holder of Linden, TN; brother, Tony Holder and wife Kelly of Hohenwald, TN; and grandchildren, Kingston Holder and Evelyn Holder.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Odie Horner Holder; and daughter, Mendy Holder.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, TN.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, TN with Bobby Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in his farm with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
