Jack Eismon Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Monreal Srnick Funerals & Cremations on Feb. 10, 2024.
Jack T. Eismon, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2024, at the age of 88. Born on August 5, 1935, in Kodol, WV, Jack was a dedicated family man known for his kindness and compassionate nature.
Jack built a successful career in the steel industry, working for LTV Steel for 38 years. Jack's dedication and hard work earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Jack was a member of Local 1179. He was also a proud Mason at Euclid Lodge 599, where he found fellowship and camaraderie.
Outside of work, Jack had a passion for sports and enjoyed baseball, golf, and bowling, in fact he bowled 3 games scorning 300. He also loved to travel, and for 20 years, he proudly owned a condo in Florida, where he would escape and enjoy the warm sunshine.
A proud veteran, Jack served his country as a member of the United States Marines. His time in the military instilled in him the values of honor, dedication, and loyalty, which he carried with him throughout his life.
Jack will be dearly missed by his children Jacqueline (Eugene) Unger, William (EV) Eismon, Craig Eismon and John (Lorraine) Eismon, step-children Katherine (Scott) Mayer, Kolleen Krebs, Kelly (Jim) Newland, Kenneth Krebs and Kristine Krebs, dog Jenny, 19 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Mary Ellen Theresa Eismon.
A celebration of life will be held in the near future.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, an organization that provided invaluable care and support during Jack's final moments.
Jack's presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew him. He was a true gentleman. May he rest in eternal peace.
