Following his military service, he pursued a career in education, first as a computer programmer before transitioning to become a science and math teacher, inspiring countless students throughout his years in the classroom.
A devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church in Quitman, John was known for his fervent study of the Bible and his commitment to his faith. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he held a profound passion for sports, particularly basketball and football, which he enjoyed watching and discussing with family and friends.
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Mary Forsee; his sons, John Forsee(Jeanne) and Brad Forsee; his daughter, Deena Woodruff; his step son, Paul Benton(Stephanie); his step daughters, Tina Wilson(Richard Dickey) and Vicki Keanu(Alan) his sister, Brenda Wills; and a large and cherished extended family, including 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, who were a constant source of joy and pride throughout his life.
