Jack Gates Obituary
He enjoyed reading, walking his dog, IU football and basketball, and the Indianapolis Colts. He was employed by AT&T as a Programmer and by IBM as a Database Analyst.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jo Ann; his sons Jeff, Joe and Jamie; his grandchildren; and his brother Joseph Gates.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the service time at 3:00 PM Saturday, February 7, 2026 at G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143. Jack will be laid to rest at The Gardens at Olive Branch Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wheeler Mission.
