JACK TRAVIS GLASNER, age 89, of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life on Monday, June 2, 2025, at Viva Senior Living at Franklin Manor in Winchester following an extended illness. Mr. Glasner was born in Anderson, Tenn., on January 9, 1936, to the late Charlie John Glasner and Cora Dola Haddon Glasner. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Glasner was employed for approximately 30+ years with the former Wilton Corp. in Winchester as a Machinist. Several years after his retirement he was employed at Designers Discount in Winchester, a company owned by his brother, Glen for approximately 10 years. He was a member of the Estill Springs Church of Christ. Mr. Glasner enjoyed fishing and deer hunting in his younger years. He will be remembered for his fun loving "pranks" he loved to pull on people and sometimes had some pulled on him. He was a man that loved to "cut up" and have fun. He especially loved to pick on his nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Allen Glasner and sister, Barbara (Hulon) Henderson.
He is survived by his brothers, Glen Glasner and wife, Glenda of Winchester, Tenn. and Howard Glasner of Cowan, Tenn., sister, Linda Edwards of Estill Springs, Tenn. and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mr. Glasner will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 5, 2025, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Eddie Braddy, officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 12:00 noon Thursday until service time at 2:00.
Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester with military honors bestowed.
