Obituary published on Legacy.com by Young Funeral Home on Feb. 11, 2026.
Mr. Jack Denton Graham, Jr., age 54, of Linden, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026, at his home. He was born in Linden, the son of Edna Griggs Graham Parnell and the late Jack Denton Graham, Sr. Denton attended Linden Elementary School, then went to Webb School in Bell Buckle, TN in 1989. He began his collegiate studies at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, later transferring to the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where he graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications. His professional journey took him first to Atlanta, GA, where he worked with Bombay Company and Flack Interiors-experiences that helped launch his own design business. He later lived in New York, NY, before returning to his beloved hometown of Linden. There, he devoted more than 14 years of service to Perry County Emergency 911, where his dedication and steady presence were deeply valued. Denton was preceded in death by his father, Jack Denton Graham, Sr.; his stepfather, Judge Clovis "Peewee" Parnell; and his brother in law, Terry Treadwell.

He is survived by his mother and biggest supporter, Edna Graham Parnell; his sisters Deana (Ron) Nichols of Franklin, TN, Rhonda (Tim) Friar of Knoxville, TN, and Gaye Graham Treadwell of Linden, TN. He was a proud uncle to Kari (Joe) Jessie; Ryan (Margaret) Nichols and Graham (Kallen) Nichols; Rebecca (Wes) Murray and Rachel (Jeff) Cloyd; Tiffany (John) Richards and Courtney (Brian) Marrs; as well as a host of extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Christian Church, 168 W. Main Street, Linden, TN, or to Buddy's Rescue, c/o Sandy Sherrill, 4457 Old Hwy 13 South, Linden, TN 37096. Denton's life was enriched by the companionship of his beloved fur babies, BJ and Maggie, who brought him great joy and comfort.
