Jack Richard Gray, 83, from Jerome, MI, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at his home. Jack's family and friends will gather from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Eineder Funeral Homes – Brooklyn Chapel, with Military honors at 5:00 p.m.
He was born on January 9, 1942, in Prestonburg, KY, to Josh and Gladys (Bentley) Gray. Jack married Theresa DeSantis, on November 25, 1994, in Las Vegas, NV. He will be remembered as a proud veteran and a loving husband, father and grandfather. Jack graduated from Wayland High School in KY. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, from 1967 – 1969. Afterwards, Jack returned to Ford Motor Company as a supervisor in the Dearborn Stamping department. He spent 30 great years at Ford Motor Company, where everyone came to love him. Jack enjoyed golfing, hunting and gun collecting. He loved basketball, playing and watching. In high school, Jack played on the basketball team. He loved watching the Kentucky Wildcats. Jack would also watch the Detroit Lions. He enjoyed lake living on Lake LeAnn. Jack loved his dogs.
Jack will be missed by his wife, Theresa Gray; his children, Mario DeSantis and Mary Rose (Ali) Ramadan; grandchildren, Michael, Adam and Sam Ramadan; his brother-in-law, Joseph DeSantis; and his best friend, George Bruder. He is preceded in death by his parents, his 2 sisters, Stella Mae and Gilda; his 4 brothers, Buddy, Jimmy Joe, Darwin and Josh Jr.; and his best friend, Cliff.
