In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Ann Weaver Henry; daughter, Beverly Ann Henry; and sisters, Katie Henry Butler, Zane Henry Bishop; and brother, Abb M. Henry, Jr.
He is survived by his daughter, Jacqueline Elaine Savage (Michael) of Caledonia, MS; son, Stephen Mark Henry (Tracy Henson) of Starkville, MS; sister, Carole Haynes of Starkville, MS; grandchildren, Ashlie McEwen (Derrick) of Caledonia, MS, Katie Gillon (John Daniel) of Caledonia, MS, Cortney Thompson (Hugh) of Nashville, TN, Shelli Scott (Cameron) of Tuscaloosa, AL; and great grandchildren, Lucy McEwen and Josie Gillon, both of Caledonia, MS, and Opal and Silas Scott of Tuscaloosa, AL.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 9:30-11:00 AM at Morgan Chapel Baptist Church in Sturgis, MS, with the funeral service immediately following. Revs. Ben Yarber and Brandon Powell will conduct the service. Burial will be in Morgan Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Baptist Children's Village, P.O. Box 27, Clinton, MS 39060 or to a charity of choice.
