Jack Leonard Howell Sr., 87, passed away on February 27, 2026 surrounded by his loving family in Homewood, Alabama, he was born May 31, 1938, in Jackson, Alabama, and a longtime resident of Vestavia Hills, Alabama. He was a proud graduate of Jackson High School and the University of Alabama. Jack built a long and successful career beginning with Clarke-Washington EMC, Square D, and Schneider Electric, where he later retired.
Jack was a devoted husband to his wife, Barbara Chastain Howell, and a loving father to his sons, Jack Leonard 'Len' Howell Jr. and James 'Jim' (Sherry) Howell. He was a proud grandfather to Melissa Howell, Jaclyn Howell Fincher, Allison Howell, and James Howell, and a cherished great-grandfather to Crew and Camille Fincher.
He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and the many lives he touched throughout his life.
