His Legacy Jack William Ketchum, 86, passed away April 26, 2025. He was born on February 5, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan to Carlton Ketchum and Joyce (Young) Ketchum. Jack married the love of his life, Mary Monroe, on October 1, 1965, in Detroit, Michigan. Jack proudly served in the Army as an engineer and equipment operator. He will be remembered as being quiet and reserved, with a deep love for his family. Jack enjoyed the outdoors and was a lifelong deer hunter and NRA member. Muscle cars and being part of the car club was another one of his passions.
His Family Jack will be missed by his children, John Ketchum, Bill (Valerie) Ketchum; grandchildren, Caleb, Ann, Sarah, and his friends. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Ketchum; parents, Carlton and Joyce Ketchum; siblings, Butch, Sandy and Judy.
His Farewell Jack's family and friends will gather4-8PM Monday, May 5, 2025 at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Howell Memorial Chapel in Howell, Michigan. His burial will be take place on Tuesday 10AM, May 6th, at St. John Cemetery in Howell. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
