Jack E. Kline, age 89, born on February 18, 1936, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Throughout his life, Jack worked tirelessly, often holding multiple jobs to provide and care for his family, and retired in 1997 as a District Manager for AmeriGas.
Outside of work, Jack lived a full and active life. He loved motorcycling, camping, and spending time helping others. He also devoted many hours to volunteer for various organizations. Above all, Jack cherished time with his children, grandchildren and friends.
Jack is survived by his children, Mark (Heather) Kline, Renee (Fred) Drewry, Tom (Luann) Kline, Debbie Origlio (Scott), Denise Dunn, and Carol (Terry) White; his many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his brother, Glenn Kline.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deanna Kline, whom he deeply loved. His parents, John and Mary Kline; sisters, Mary Kathrine Pence and Pat Wears; and grandson, Jordan Kline.
Jack will be remembered for his family loyalty, hard work ethic and his Christian faith.
The family sincerely thanks the staff of Traditions Health Hospice for their compassionate care, kindness and support. A special thanks to our wonderful caregivers for their love and dedication over the years to both our parents! They were a godsend and truly a gift to our family.
Calling hours will be held 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Bissler & Sons Crematory, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday, January 5, 2026, at University Parish Newman Center, 1424 Horning Rd, Kent, OH 44242 with the Rev. Fr. William Wainio as celebrant. Family and friends are invited to gather immediately afterward for fellowship and remembrance.
