Danny Lee Kline, age 79 of Sturgis, Michigan, passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon, February 5, 2026, at his home with his beloved wife by his side.

Born December 1, 1946, in Sturgis, Michigan, Danny was the son of the late Clinton and Faye (McPherson) Kline. He spent most of his life in Sturgis and was a proud graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1965.

On April 1, 1966, Danny married the love of his life, Sandra Kay Pierson, at the Sturgis Missionary Church, beginning a marriage that spanned 59 years and was built on love, devotion, and faith. Danny worked hard to provide for his family, retiring from Midwest Tool & Cutlery in Sturgis after 14 years of dedicated service as a supervisor. Over the years, he also worked at Syndicate Store Fixtures in Middlebury, Indiana, and Olson Bodies in Sturgis.

Danny was proud to have served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, earning the rank of Sergeant. His faith was an important part of his life, and he was an active member of Christian Fellowship Center in Sturgis and Neuman-Wenzel Post #73 American Legion. In his free time, Danny enjoyed hunting and fishing, but above all, he treasured time spent with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sandra Kline; daughters, Dawn (Michael) Quick of Sturgis and Shelly (Matthew) Milliman of Rome City, Indiana; grandchildren, Amanda Christopher of Middlebury, Indiana, and Ashley Milliman of Utah; and great-grandchildren, Elicia Christopher and Brock Oliver Christopher.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Robert Kline; and his sister, Norma West.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Christian Fellowship Center, 201 North Street, Sturgis, where funeral services celebrating Danny's life will immediately follow at 1:00 P.M. Pastor Travis Koeman will officiate. A graveside committal service will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis, where full military honors will be rendered by Captain John J. Kelley Post #1355 VFW and the United States Air Force Honor Guard.
