Jack Knapp

Jack Knapp, 77, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at his home. He was born August 12, 1948 in Evansville to the late Alice (Seavers) and George Knapp.

Jack graduated from North High School and Lockyear Business College. He worked in pharmaceutical sales and retired from Basic Drugs. Jack attended Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Becky (Unfried) Knapp; daughters, Heather Knapp and Beverly Knapp; granddaughter, Emma; brother, Charlie (Candy) Knapp; sister, Karen (Steve) Groeninger; stepchildren, Bob (Heather) Barnett, Bryan Barnett (Shawna Eden) and Nicole Garza; step-grandchildren, Dylan Barnett, Nykki Barnett, John Riff, Ashlie Hodges, Chasady Hodges and Brandon Hodges; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his stepson, Bradley Barnett.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville with a memorial service at 5:00 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2026 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1301 S. Green River Rd., Evansville. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Father Bernie Etienne officiating.

Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
